It's for guitar duos like this that the power of the riff was started because at the end of the day what it all boils down to is the basic riffs and whether they erupt from your speakers spewing forth molten metal or if they fall flat out and are weak in their execution. When it comes to Denner and Shermann we find ourselves with two veterans of metal who with Melissa and Don't Break the Oath alone knocked out more riffs than most bands manage in a lifetime and that's exactly what they do here with the aid of Sean Peck ( Death Dealer, Cage and Warrior) on demonic vocal wails. At time he appears to be a King clone however once the songs soak into your consciousness you can clearly hear that this man possess a voice all of his own. I could go on and on about Satan's Tomb but the mere fact is that it slays and crushes like one would expect, sure a Mercyful Fate album would be great but this takes care of any cravings, at least for the time being.
